I heart Japanese and Korean Beauty Products (Random Pictures)

I just want to share some pictures from my trip to Palace Beauty, a beauty store that sells Korean and Japanese beauty products. The minute I walked into the store, I immediately fell in love. They have tons of stuff. Some are expensive, and some are not. I don't think they have a website, but I found this on Yelp! http://www.yelp.com/biz/palace-beauty-los-angeles.

So here are the pictures....

Dolly Wink Cosmetics by Tsubasa Masuwaka

Oh my god, these stuff are so cute! But I got one item only, for now. =P I will post a picture tomorrow.

Korean and Japanese Brands Face Mask.

I bought about 12 packets of masks! They had some sales going on when I was there so I had to get some. :)

Darkness Lashes

These stuff are awesome, that's all I can say. They might not be $15 per piece like MAC, but these lashes have beauty and quality. And most models in ViVi magazine have dolly like criss-cross spiky lashes on them. So not everything is about MAC or Ardell you know ;) We got to try other stuff too. :) And oh, I spent about an hour looking through each of these Darkness Lashes. It was so hard to choose since the store carries all styles. Just so you know, the store has about 3 display cabinets of Darkness Lashes. :) It's lashes heaven!

Last but not least, I finally got my hands on this stuff!! It was sold out everywhere and I was lucky to have found it at Macy's at Glendale Galleria. There were only 3 left so I immediately grabbed one, paid for it, and walked out of the store with a huge smile on my face! It's funny how makeup can make me the happiest girl alive! Ha!Ha!

Naked by Urban Decay.

So that's it. I hope everyone had an amazing weekend as well.

This Week Purchase :)

Happy Friday to All!

Just a quick post today because I want to share my internet shopping haul with you guys.
So this week, I received these two interesting items in the mail and I am super excited to start using them! :)

Solia Flat Iron

I bought this flat iron from Folica.com last Monday and it arrived in the mail today! The shipping was quite fast! This Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron is one of the Top 10 Flat Irons listed on the website and it is based on thousands of consumer reviews, the latest technologies and years of testing.

By the way, FOLICA is having sales right now and it will end tonight at midnight. I bought mine for less than the original price. Of course I got it on sale (still on sale as of now!), and plus I used a discount code for an additional $25 off. :) I was so happy. So hurry up and check them out if you are looking for a new flat iron!

Here is the link to see the top 10 Flat Irons: FOLICA. If you are buying one, just don't forget to apply the code listed on the website for an additional $25 off.

Sigma F50 Duo Fibre Brush

I have heard a lot of raves about this one particular brush. I have never used a stipple brush before to apply my foundation and with all the great reviews Sigma received, I can't help myself but to order one. JUST ONE. I haven't used or bought any brush from Sigma before so this was my first purchase. If I like it, I'll be buying some other stuff. I am not sure if I could compare this to MAC 187 Duo Fibre brush since MAC is an extremely well established brand and well known for their qualities. Besides, I have yet to try MAC 187 before I could even say anything. There is also a big difference in price. Sigma F50 Duo Fibre is only $16 to compare to MAC 187 that cost $42 per piece. Big difference. But then again, at the end it is all about quality. I have yet to use this Sigma brush before I could rave or rant about it. But hey, if you are on a budget and looking for makeup brushes, you know where to go!

That' all for now. Reviews to follow.

Have a great awesome Friday night everyone!

Haul: Beauty Products

Happy Saturday ladies! I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. :)

Today, I am quite lazy. I would like to do some reviews, but I think I am going to start with this haul post first. I bought these few items yesterday and I can't wait to try them!

From left to right:

1) Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mask Cucumber. Clarifies and renews skin. Price: $3.99 at CVS.

I like the fact that it is made with natural, botanical ingredients. The last time I tried this brand was years ago. This brand is hard to find that's why when I saw this at the CVS, I wouldn't want to miss it. Grabbed and paid. I will try it today and will talk more about it later. :)

2) Lancôme GALATÉE CONFORT Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser. Price: $30.00 at Macys.

"Emolliently-rich and milky creme cleanser gently melts away makeup and impurities. The instantly comforting formula contains honey and sweet almond extracts to condition and leave skin feeling clean, silky-soft and soothed. Rinse or tissue off. Dermatologist-tested for safety."

I like the fact that it is a creme cleanser that can be used to wipe off my makeup. I normally use my facial wash and it doesn't do a good job at cleaning my face. I'll be trying this today.

3) Accents lashes by Ardell. Price: $4.09 at CVS.

It's summer and I don't need full on lashes. :) Accent is enough to enhance my eyes.

I would like to know if this would help erasing a fine line on my forehead. I frown way too much! Ha!Ha!

5) Viva Glam Gaga 2 Lipglass by MAC.  Price: $14.50 at Macy's.

I just have to have this! I 've been looking for nude lip gloss forever.  Review and swatch to follow. Please note I am NC 42 in MAC and have a natural red lips. Will see how this will look on me.

6) Powder FX Mineral Powder Foundation. Price: $35 at Sephora.

I need a quick fix every morning so I think this one is perfect. I haven't tried it yet. I will do a complete review later. I got mine in Deep Mocha, which I think is darker than my skin color, but since it is summer, I am fine with it.

7) Sinful Colors Professional in Mint Apple. Price: $2.99 at CVS.

I'll see how professional it is. It comes out sheer and not that opaque when I tested it, but I bought it anyways since I love mint color for summer. I'll do NOTD later. :)

I guess that's all for now. Off to visit your blog! Hope to see some haul posts. :)

Nail of The Day and Random Pictures

Milani Nail Lacquer Neon in Fresh Teal

This color is gorgeous! My first time buying MILANI Nail Lacquer and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality of this brand. It's even better than my OPI nail polish. I only used one coat here (picture above). The color is very opaque and the polish itself is very smooth. I didn't get any "air bubbles" at all. Seriously, I love this better than OPI, but that's just my opinion. I bought this for $7.99 at CVS, and I believe that's more expensive than the website which is only $4.99.  For more info, visit www.milanicosmetics.com.

And...I  would like to share some randoms pictures from yesterday :)

This one of course was taken from underneath the pier!

The view.....at 2.00 P.M.

I had to have some Fish N Chips since I was at the beach. It was delicious!

Then...I needed a dessert. I love Pinkberry..so I bought myself the Original with tons of chocolate toppings!Yummy! :)

My Favorite Pair of Sunglasses.

Since it was practically sunny, I had my sunglasses on while roaming around the 3rd Street Promenade. And I don't want under eye wrinkles, of course! I love this sunglasses a LOT. Though I have many pairs, I always go back to this 2005 Chanel. :) Love the color, love the shape. People buy name brands for reasons and one of them is quality. I abused this one a lot, but it is still in great condition. It was $450 back then. Kimora Lee has one and I got mine because of her! Yes, I used to watch her show. LOL :) Well, at the end, it's worth the money.

....And of course, I can't escape the Sephora store so I got myself some little thing :) I'll do a review of this foundation soon!

My final purchase is this one - a neck massage wrap from Brookstone. I need some good neck rub so why not?

Well, I hope everyone had a great Father's Day Weekend.

My Summer Haul :)

I love summer! It's the most fun season to shop where I can wear pretty, bold colors, and go as short as I want without feeling weird or awkward about it. :) I haven't shopped yet since I've been busy, but I would like to get started soon! So far, I've only browsed several stores and I found these following items are worth buying.

I love nude or light brown color. I think it looks gorgeous on a tanned skin. I am looking into buying some wedges or espadrilles since they are perfect for summer. This one below is over 4 inches high (my kinda heels) and the material is made of leather, except the wedge part of course. Don't you guys think it's cute? Price: $100.00.

All my denims are by True Religion just because I love their twisted inseam. My favorite is Joey, of course. :) The jeans fit me so right that I wouldn't want to buy anything else but a TR, and I've been wearing the brand since 2004! However, since I've already own a lot of pairs, I think I should move on, and try other brands. Besides, it's a lot cheaper for my wallet too, which is a plus! :)

Well, back to this Misty Boot Cuts jeans by Pink Ice, I personally find that the ripped or destroyed style is quite sexy! And I also love the obvious crinkled design. Price: $37.99. I might end up going to the store this weekend, and get one for myself just for this summer.

Gorgeous, enough said! This style reminds me of Erin Silver (Jessica Stroup) from CWTV Show, 90210. Oh wait, there's a Bebe for 90210, right? Well, this dress is not from the collection though I think it should belong there. :) The price is $98, and it's polyester. Love the print and cut!

I love the bold print, and its slinky style. Those who know me on a personal level would know that I love a cutout back, and a tight fitting dress. I think this dress is gorgeous, and the model has a similar coloring/skin tone as mine, so I think I am going to get this one! Price: $69.00.

Is there anything else that I should add to my shoppinh list besides dresses, jeans and shoes?

I won Apothica giveaway!

Thanks so much to Toni Tralala at http://kookyheteromorphic.blogspot.com/ for hosting the giveaway. I really can't believe I won it. LOL. I have received an e-mail from Apothica, and I can shop anytime now!

I am sure many of you have heard about Apothica.com, an online retailer specializing in cosmetics and skincare. I've been browsing for few hours now and I can't decide which one I want! If it was up to me, i'd be buying lots of cometics products! But right now, I only want to try some skincare stuff. :)

These are the items that I would love to try!

1) Ole Henriksen Travel Essentials - Oily/Blemish Prone

Since I have a sensitive skin, and prone to break out, so I think this would be perfect. I would like to try the set out first, and see how my skin reacts to it. :)

and we are back to makeup.... :D

2) Stila Cosmetics Lip Glaze - Berry

Didn't I mention in my previous post that I wanted to buy Stila Lipglaze in Berry?? Well, this is my chance to get this pretty little thing!

Well, the colors are so pretty, I just can't resist it! The shades are ideal for summer.

4)DuWop Foundation of Youth - 5 Tan

Or maybe I should just get this foundation? I really need one right now. This is what I read from the website: The foundation is a lightweight, nourishing foundation that actually improves the health of your skin while providing a flawless finish for your skin every time. Sounds good, don't you think?

So, what do you guys think? Should I get any of these products, or should I look for something else instead? Let me know!!
