My current obsession - Sam Edelman Wedges

When I first saw these pair of sky high wedges on InstaGram, I seriously fell in love...hard! So I went to the local Nordstrom to buy the shoes, but unfortunately they were out of stock. I was crushed! The sales assistant said the shoes were a special edition - part of the Holiday 2011 collection. Whatever. I didn't really care. All I wanted was the shoes. Fortunately, he was quite helpful. He checked Nordstrom.com for me and it showed that the store still had some...at least a few pairs left. So he took my order bla bla bla.. he said within 5 days I would get my shoes. Low and behold, on the fifth day, I got a shocking email from Nordstrom. My order was cancelled! The email stated that the shoes were no longer available. They even removed the shoes from the website. Even SamEdelman.com did not have them anymore. I was so upset. I really wanted the shoes. So I went to Twitter and tweeted Nordstrom, asking: "why this thing always happen? Why my order was cancelled, again? This wasn't the first time!". Well, I got a reply from a CS asking if I could provide him with more info through a Direct Message. So I did. He said he would check the availability for me. Half an hour later, I got a phone call. I was so excited when the CS (His name is Michael by the way!) said there's one Nordstrom somewhere in Texas still had one pair left and the sales assistant from there would be calling me soon. So I waited...and waited...but no phone call. =/ I ended up bugging the CS on Twitter again asking him to call the Texas store for me. He did, twice! He promised that someone would be calling me soon. I guess the store was really busy. Finally, at the end of the evening, I got a phone call from Texas! Yay! The sales person took my credit card info and processed my order. :) I was soooo happy! I give Nordstrom Customer Service (Twitter especially) an A ++++++. Great customer service! Anyway, here are the shoes!! They arrived within 3 days. :) And yes, I am seriously in love with them. They are so cute, and sexy! ;)

So.... what are your current favorite shoes? Do share!

The Kardashian Kloset Confidential

Hello ladies,

I just received my favorite magazine InStyle UK Edition and guess what? Your favorite reality TV stars are in it! I just have to share the following articles with you guys because some of you love the Kardashians, and their fabulous lifestyle. :) Well, it's quite amazing to see how these women who once upon a time had closets just like everyone else, you know a simple walk-in, and now each of them has a closet as big as a guest bedroom! I know some of you might say ahhhh, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey have the biggest closets of them all (yeah as big as a small house!) but still, for reality TV stars, these closets are great! And that's what fame can do for you - even a bad publicity is a good publicity for them. It keeps the money coming ;). I still think that the two sisters, Kourtney and Khloe (and the rest of the family of course) should all be thankful to Kim as she was the one who started it all - from a racy sex tape with a famous person to a successful reality show and all of the business ventures. So kudos to Kim and the family. :) So here are the articles about their closets! Enjoy!

PS: I would definitely raid Kourtney's closet since we are about the same size!

The Secret Circle Is Now My Favorite New Show!

The Secret Circle finally aired last week after CW spent quite some times making buzz about its new TV show. I did watch the pilot episode and I kinda like the story line. I love everything and anything witches, werewolves and vampires so I had to watch the show. ;). Anyway, from all of the characters in Secret Circle, I am in love with Faye Chamberlain the most. She is supposedly the bad girl in the show which I don't care because she has the most awesome outfits among the girls. This is my favorite look from her:

I love whole combo - the burgundy colored dress paired with a medium size belt, a leather jacket and combat / military style boots. The lovely fringe necklace that Faye has on just completes this whole look. I LOVE IT! This is the kind of style I would normally wear, except the combat boots. I don't own any. I never thought they would look great with a short dress, but I guess I was mistaken. I might want to hit the mall this weekend and check out those combat boots. I think they are awesome! I can't wait for more episodes of Secret Circle for fashion ideas. :) And oh, since I am in love with the total look, I put together an outfit that is similar to the one from the first episode. Enjoy!
