I cut my hair (kinda short) and I regret it!!!

What was I thinking? My hair was long and thick and suddenly I thought about cutting my hair slightly shorter. I actually wanted a long layered style. Well, like most girls always say, if you ask for a long layered, most likely the hair stylist/dresser will chop half of your hair off! Well, she did indeed!! :`(. I asked her not to touch the lowest part of my pair so its length won't change at all and to just trim and layer the top part only, but, oh well, she touched it! I cant do anything about it. I just had to accept it, even though I didn't like it. While she was cutting my hair, I kept on asking her, "are you touching the lowest part?", and she kept on saying no. I was like hmmmm.....kinda like I wanted to tell her to stop, but at the same time I felt bad. So when it's done, I realized my hair was way shorter than what I wanted.

I showed it to my bf and he was unhappy about it. He said girls need to have a long thick hair because that's what make them girlie, feminine, bla bla bla. Well, I admit that long hair makes me feel pretty, and short hair makes me feel grumpy. Long hair makes me want to dress up and put make up on, but shorter hair makes me feel lazy. LOL. It is just me though. I know some girls can rock short hair styles. Well, at the end, it is up to an individual..really. :) I loved my long hair. I wish I didn't get the hair cut today. =/

Anyways, below is a picture of my new short haircut (to me)  and yeah it is still straight because of the Japanese Straightening (similar to Brazilian Blow Out). And an hour later, I put on my hair extensions LOL, just because........ and no, I didn't style it. Just wanted to compare between a long hair and a short hair. :)

Oh another thing, I am back on taking this Hair Vitamin called Hair ReVive. I bought it online from VitaCost about 3-4 months ago. It helps my hair grow faster! Yeah, my hair takes forever to grow!

Your hair looks nice!! Trust me -it's not even short(it's actually pretty long.) I remember back in March I went in for a trim (1-2 inches) and the lady cut off NINE inches!! I'm still waiting for it to grow back!

Aww I can't believe that your bf was unhappy about it. =( That stinks.. my bf actually LIKES me to have short hair but maybe he's just weird. =P

Kali : i think because I went home with a frowning face LOL and he would say stuff like that just to make me happy since he guessed I wasn't really ecstatic with the style. Ha ha. Whatever. Ill keep on taking the vitamin till my grows again :)

Your hair still looks long, but I know what you mean. Next week I'm cutting mine, I'm not looking forward to it :/

hey hun, your hair is gorgeous and definately not short, I would love hair like yours :)
I do hate scissor happy hairdressers. I asked for mine to be cut just below my shoulders and they chopped it up by my chin, I wasn't happy, my boyfriends hair is now longer than mine, which just isn't right xxx

Haha... I was trying to do a spot the difference between the 2 photos. Your hair isn't much shorter! But but but, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN! Sometimes I just wanna keep my hair length but no matter how I tell the stylist, they would just say ok and snip snip snip. At least, yours is maybe like 1 or 2 inches shorter so it's still fine. Mine could be as much as 5 inches difference! Nevertheless dear, it's fine. Coz they're also snipping away all the ends with probable split ends so your hair would grow out healthier. Moreover, it pretty difficult to do a layer w/o doing an all round snipping as they have to balance the whole hair. Hope you know what i'm talking about.

I've since learnt to not get upset over hair length coz they could be grown out anytime. But yes, I do get "depression"over hair which is not what I wanted. I should share with you some photos of my super big difference hair! Haha... then maybe you'll feel better.

Hope your hair is growing nice and healthy with the vitamins!

ugh so true! I always ask them to "keep the length" but they ALWAYS just cut off so much anyway :(
